A Question Every Human Must Answer
If human beings are the most intelligent species on Earth...
Why are we also capable of the greatest cruelty?
The same species that composes music...
discovers life-saving medicines...
builds schools...
explores distant planets...
and dreams of a better future...
can also exploit children...
abuse women...
destroy families...
spread hatred...
start wars...
and justify violence.
So perhaps the real question is no longer...
"What is happening to the world?"
The real question is...
"What is happening to us?"
The Illusion of Progress
We proudly celebrate technological breakthroughs.
Artificial Intelligence.
Quantum Computing.
Space Exploration.
Genetic Engineering.
Automation.
Digital Revolutions.
But progress should never be measured only by what humanity can build.
It must also be measured by what humanity refuses to destroy.
A civilization cannot call itself truly advanced if fear becomes normal, dignity becomes optional, and compassion becomes rare.
The strength of a civilization is not measured by the height of its skyscrapers...
but by the strength of its character.
